For most of my design career, Figma was where the real work happened. I’d design screens, build prototypes, then hand off the designs for someone else to build. Why paying attention to human beings is the whole jobThere’s a folding table outside a grocery store. A kid is behind it. AI has eaten the technology industry. What started as a slow, hallucination-prone chatbot has become something much harder to ignore. As a designer, it can feel like the ground is shifting under your feet, quietly at first, then all at once. Every week, something new disrupts your workflow, your toolset,… Read more

What a workshop taught us about closing the gap between design and code. In most design workflows, there’s a point where the work leaves your hands. The spec goes to engineering, and from there you’re shaping the outcome through comments, screenshots, and Slack threads—staying involved, but one step behind…. Read more

What is this site?

The lists here include posts from active design team blogs that meet the following criteria:

  • Only in-house design or UX teams â€“ Company blogs are included if there’s a design or UX-specific category to follow. No guest contributor posts.
  • At least one post in the last year â€“ There are many dormant team sites with great articles, but only active blogs are included.
  • Must have an RSS feed (or be scrapable) – Please? We shouldn’t have to write a script find out you have a new post.

Know of a design team blog we missed? If it meets the above criteria and isn’t listed, please let us know!

This all started with the “Design Team Blogroll” post I wrote to encourage my colleagues to contribute to Design at Sprout Social. My hope is that making these aggregated feeds more accessible will encourage design teams to learn from one another and share even more.
